Privacy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Louie's Outdoor Care handles personal information when you visit our website, respond to our ads on Facebook or Instagram, request a quote, book a service or contact us.
Louie's Outdoor Care Pty Ltd (ACN 699 848 247, ABN 56 699 848 247), trading as Louie's Outdoor Care, provides lawn, garden, hedge, green waste and outdoor maintenance services in the Sutherland Shire, NSW. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to this business.
We collect information relevant to your enquiry or the services we provide. This can include:
Our website and advertising tools may also collect technical information about your visit, such as your browser, device, pages viewed and how you reached the website. Section 6 explains these tools. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for the work.
You usually give us information directly through our website quote form, a Meta instant lead form on Facebook or Instagram, by phone, SMS or email, or when discussing work at your property. We may also receive relevant booking and contact details from someone authorised to act for you, such as a family member or property manager.
Meta instant lead forms. If you tap one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram and fill in an instant form, Meta may prefill your name, phone number and email address from your account. You can check and change these before you submit. When you submit the form, Meta sends us the details you entered, together with information about which ad, campaign and platform (Facebook or Instagram) the enquiry came from. We then handle those details under this policy. Meta's own handling of your information is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
We may record property conditions during a visit and collect website information through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6). If you provide another person's information, please make sure you are authorised to share it with us.
We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess the work, prepare quotes, manage bookings and provide our services. We also use it to arrange safe access, send service updates, process payments, issue invoices, maintain business records and handle questions or complaints.
Relevant records may be used to resolve disputes, manage insurance matters and meet legal obligations. If you choose not to provide information we need, we may be unable to quote accurately, arrange access or complete the service.
We may contact you by phone, SMS or email about your enquiry, quote, booking, invoice or an existing service. These are service communications, not permission to send unrelated marketing.
Where we send promotional messages, we will do so with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law. You can ask us to stop marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe option in the message or contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential communications about work you have booked or an outstanding invoice.
Our website is built and hosted on Webflow, which also processes website form submissions. Our automation tool, n8n, passes website and lead form enquiries into GoHighLevel, which we use to manage enquiries, customer information and follow-up messages.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, set up through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use our website. It collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your device and browser type, your approximate location and how you arrived (for example from a search or an ad). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. We use this information in summary form to improve our website and advertising, not to identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to understand how people reach our website from Facebook and Instagram, to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who are likely to need our services. The pixel may collect information about your visit and actions you take on our website, such as submitting a quote form, and Meta may link this to your Meta account. You can review your ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.
You can manage cookies through your browser and review advertising preferences through the relevant platform. Restricting cookies may affect some website features and may not disable every type of tracking. Third-party providers handle information under their own privacy policies; this policy does not cover websites you visit through external links.
We may take photos or videos of the work area before, during and after a visit to record its condition and the work completed.
We may also use photos of our work on our website and social media. We will not show people, house numbers, street signs, number plates or other details that identify you or your address.
If you do not want photos of your property used for marketing, email hello@louiesoutdoorcare.com at any time. We will stop using them for marketing and remove any already posted from our own channels within a reasonable time. This does not necessarily require deletion of records needed to document the job or meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share relevant information with service providers who help us operate our business. The main ones are:
People carrying out your booked work may receive the contact, location and access details they need. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers or insurers when dealing with a claim or dispute, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. We limit sharing to information relevant to the purpose.
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia. Google, Meta, GoHighLevel and Webflow are based in the United States and may store information there and in other countries where they or their providers operate. Our automation tool may also process information on servers outside Australia.
Before we use a provider that handles personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it protects that information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, such as choosing providers with published privacy and security terms.
We store information in our business systems, including our quoting/customer management and accounting systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and to limit access to people who need it for their work. No online system or method of transmission is completely secure.
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy, including service history, tax and accounting records, legal obligations and the handling of claims or disputes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements.
You can contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. We may need to verify your identity before responding to protect your privacy. We aim to respond within 30 days, and there is no charge to make a request. If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain why in writing, where permitted by law, and tell you how to complain.
You can also update your contact or access details, opt out of marketing or ask us not to use property photos for marketing. You can browse our website and ask general questions without telling us who you are, but we need your name and contact details to quote or provide our services. If you ask us to delete information, we will consider the request, but some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting or dispute-related reasons.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us using the details below. Please describe what happened and the outcome you are seeking, so we can review the matter. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to give you a written response within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992 for information about privacy rights and any complaint options available to you.
